JINLUN's president Li Yuming saw a number of problems with the way plywood machines processed timber, such as how easily the wood split in the peeler and how larger or more irregularly shaped logs could damage the machine while peeling. In July of 1999, he founded JINLUN in order to find new solutions for these problems plaguing the industry.
In March, 2000, Li invented a veneer lathe pressure bar, which turned the spindle from a fixed part to a rotating one. A rotary spindle reduced the resistance against the wood during peeling and reduced damage to the log and the machine by 95%. He obtained a national patent for the invention (Patent No.: ZL002138387).
By 2004, JINLUN had obtained ten national patents for our woodworking machinery and became recognized as a high tech enterprise by China's Science and Technology Bureau.
In 2006, JINLUN spindleless veneer lathe received CE certificates, one of the first veneer lathe manufacturers to receive one.
Because of our machines adjustable settings, speed, and ability to produce uniform veneers, JINLUN's plywood machinery explodes in popularity. Our revenue increased from 10 million RMB in 1999 to over 70 million RMB in 2006.
In 2007, JINLUN was awarded ISO14000 and OHS18000 certificates, and complies with Japan's 5S management.
In 2009, JINLUN expanded into three companies. JINLUN's new hot press company focuses on producing plywood hot presses while JINLUN Machine Manufacturing Co., Ltd. produces middle and high grade plywood machines and plywood production line equipment including log cut off saws, log debarkers and veneer peeling lathe.
The JINLUN brand has become nationally and internationally recognized. In 2011, the Shandong province named us one of the region's most famous brands. Our annual output of veneer peeling machines has reached 5,000 units, making us the largest veneer peeling lathe manufacturer in China, and we continue to grow, expanding the countries we export to and redesigning our machines with more efficient and user-friendly features.
